History

In the summer of 1984, the founding president, Mr. Jean-Jacques Roy, started his company with, at his side, an engineer, three technicians and a secretary. At the time, Roy Consultants offered mostly municipal engineering services and mainly served Chaleur Region and Acadian Peninsula communities, in New Brunswick. A few years later, the firm gets involved in the development of projects related to the industrial sector. In 1987, the small firm moves to the premises of the current Bathurst head office.

Over the years, Roy Consultants developed a multidisciplinary structure, which allows it to broaden its fields of expertise and its reputation across the province. Since the early 1990’s, a succession plan allows employees to become owners of the firm. Under the management of Mr. Réjean Boudreau since 2005, the New Brunswick consulting engineer firm can now rely on the know-how of approximately 90 bilingual professionals working at the Bathurst head office and its four regional offices of Dieppe, Edmundston, Fredericton and Tracadie.

Since 1984, the members of Roy Consultants:

  • Lead an impressive number of mandates addressing all facets of project development, including planning, design and development;
  • Participate in the design of modern and durable works, combining creativity and advanced technologies;
  • Develop and strive to maintain, with their clients, a sound credibility owed to the seriousness of their interventions, as well as to the realism and concrete character of their recommendations in the realization of projects of great scales.
