Airports are an important part of the socio-economic development of a region. Maintenance of airport infrastructures is therefore essential to meet the needs of transporters, the expectations of their users and mostly for the continuous development of the aviation industry. As with any construction work, airport infrastructure projects must be done with due regard to the environment, neighbouring communities and safety regulations.
Since the 1990’s, airport management has been transferred to regional airport authorities. This approach procured Roy Consultants the opportunity to develop a strong business relationship with New Brunswick authorities through the realization of projects of various sizes and complexities. Thus we now have extensive experience in planning, design and management of projects related to the construction and rehabilitation of runways, taxiways, aprons, maneuvering areas as well as service buildings.
