The 6,130-square meter school is the first in New Brunswick to be designed according to the new guidelines of the Department of Education. These guidelines have been developed in terms of sustainable development based on the LEED model. The exploded floor layout maximizes the fenestration of the establishment which results in a direct link between the interior of the school and nature (views and natural light).
This was the first school in New Brunswick to be equipped with a geothermal heating system.
